Federal Requirements
Under federal law, all Title1 programs are required to be able to provide the
following
information
and meet the requirements below:
Provide data and keep all stakeholders (including parents) informed about Title 1 programs.
Provide information to parents about student assessment and performance on statewide assessments.
Provide information to parents about staff, their qualifications, and assignments.
Have a plan in place to help facilitate parent involvement with the Title 1 program.

Collect parent feedback about the programs and activities of the Title 1 program.
Collect compacts / parent permission for students participating in the Title 1 program.
Provide services to both public and nonpublic schools in the target area.
Have an accurate accounting system in place to track all Title 1 expenditures.
Supplement but do not supplant core curriculum.
